Fêted!

Bring yourself, bring a picnic and enjoy a fete worse than death!

The heady days of late summer heralded Feted, an art event with all the fun of the fair!

Set in the Victorian walled garden in Brockwell Park, South London, the August bank holiday was filled with summer frolics in a celebration of live art, poetry, sound and installation. Works were set in the context of Fêted side shows and decorations including tombola, sing-along-bunting, a wish tree and 'Trust Me' 'Don't Trust Me' plant stall.

Brockwell park, with its ponds, art-deco lido and rolling lawns, provides a respite from the urban environment. Fêted artists brought together work from their respective fields in this intimate public setting. From noon till dusk the secrets of the walled garden with its arbours and labyrinthine paths were revealed to the curious adventurer, challenging and charming the senses.
